    Cuetec pin size question

I had a Cuetec jump/break cue butt and both pins in it are 3/8 10. All I see poking around the internet is Cuetec using a 3/8 14 pin. Does anyone know if they commonly used a 3/8 10 pin at one time? I am suspecting that this one is a much older Cuetec cue and they did back then. The issue came...

    Mystery Jump Break Cue

I have a jump break cue with a signature of the cue maker on it that is a mystery to me. I can't read it and though someone here on AZB would recognize it...maybe? So far you guys are 3 for 3 on other signatures I couldn't read! it is a bit faded on the cue and difficult to get a good picture...

    Preparing cues for shipping

Just wondering what your thoughts are on preparing a pool cue for shipping. I haven't done any yet but have a pile of them to sell and probably most of them will be shipped. They are part of a friends estate. What long boxes or shipping tubes do you use? What do you wrap them in? If you don't...

    ID a McDermott?

I sure can't! Looked through all their catalogs online of discontinued cues (and current models) and just don't see it anywhere, nor any that are similar. It has their lifetime warranty sticker still on it. I don't know when they started doing that. Kind of odd the way they did what I would...

    Cognoscenti

I have a very nice Cognoscenti cue up for grabs. I am selling it for a friend who's father owned it and died not long ago leaving him with a lot of pool cues to deal with. Since the son is not a pool player he asked me to help him with all the cues. His father was a very good friend of mine for...

    2 More "Mystery" Cues

Hoping that someone might recognize the signature on it. I sure can't make it out. It's a three piece cue so I am guessing it is a jump/break cue. The date looks like 11/89 to me but I don't remember jump/break cues being common at all back then. The other is some likely inexpensive production...

    A couple "mystery cues"

I have three cues I cannot figure out. The logo on one I can't read and thought someone might recognize it. I dug around the internet and tried various searches of what I thought it might be but didn't come up with anything. it looks like it may be some production cue. The other two have what I...

    ID a couple Schon cues?

A pool player and good friend died recently. He left 46 cues behind with his son and I am trying to sort out what is there for him. There are two Schon cues I have not been able to find in any of the many old Schon catalogs I have looked through online. It would be nice to determine a model...

    Dave Jones contact info?

Anyone know how to get in touch with cue maker Dave Jones? I don't find anything out there. His website is no longer around. I played league on the same team with him here in Seattle for several years a long time ago. A mutual friend is in the hospital and not doing very well. If anyone can PM...

Seen a Huebler like this before?

I have a Huebler cue and wonder if anyone has run across a similar one before. I was told it was made sometime in the 1990's and cost somewhere close to $300 when new from the guy I bought it from and I got it for less that. It is something of a Palmer style of cue. It does not have any Custom...
