Well the century is only 19 years old, so......maybe. :D

But it will be interesting to see the final outcome. Unfortunately, I just don't have the patience to watch these long matches. Or anything else, really. I find it hard to sit through a movie, or a ball game these days, too.

Go Shane go.

Before my computer crashed a few years ago I had the old Shane vs Dennis TAR 10 Ball match. Shane handed him a butt whooping for sure. I do think Dennis has improved his break, as many have after watching Shane's break.

Even if Dennis wins I hope for a 3rd decider match. I don't think Dennis will win and I wish these two sharp shooters were playing on a ten foot Diamond.

Are jump cues allowed?

Go Shane go!!!

I'm already on record for SVB 120 Orcollo 107, so I'll stick with that prediction.

Not Dennis. He is betting on himself, but he doesn't have deep pockets.

^^^^^^^^^^^^ is a shame.

One of the greatest players to ever pick a stick up and he don't have deep pockets after all these years.

Then again, in his hometown Dennis is a trillion air.

If it really gets down to a test of endurance, I'd think SVB has an edge.
Dennis is a smoker ('they' say) and is not in the physical shape SVB is in.
Shane trains like an athlete.
Time will tell.

Your correct about shane being in better shape but, I wouldn't count DO out cause we have to consider he plays all night at times and then shows up for a early match the next day.

Physically, I think DO will be fine. He's in better shape than he looks.

Having said all that, I've got SVB.....(window closed here) and hope his break-n-run game is on.

I really don't want to see a lot of safety battles. That would make my money nervous.

Rules

It all goes down about 10 hours from now at 6pm EST

Here are the rules they both agreed on.
Am surprised there is no referee and players have to watch shots. I am sure they can afford a ref. There will be disputes and drama

All smiles before match. I doubt they will still be all smiles after match :grin-square:

cueball fouls only, players watching shot, dispute goes to the shooter...heck they are playing APA rules...if APA had 10 ball of course...

Appearance Fee?

Are SVB and DO receiving appearance fee money?
The first page of this thread indicates that they will be compensated.

I don't recall seeing the table specs for this match. Any info?

Thanks for the help.

Yes to appearance fees.

Standard pro-cut Diamond. I think at this level. it should be 4.25'
