I think you mean Q-tip rather than cue tip.

I’ve had lots of cues with no signature.....how about a pic?

You could contact the maker, if known, and ask where they usually place the signature...
In some cases where the wood is too dark where they normally sign, they sometimes sign the cue handle under the wrap.
