That's very cool and possible to do with these characters. But, considering the average intelligence of viewers that do watch reality Shows, do you believe that they will be able to tell a difference.
They hear a pop top on a beer can, a bag of Doritos being torn open and they start salivating like Pavlov's Puppy.
I won't support hustling culture.
Sounds like Professor Jonathan Gruber's thought process.
Sounds like the Spanky I know. I have footage of Scooter shaving Spanky's head after losing a match. There are stories every night! Thanks for the support and don't forget to spread the word and check out the campaign site.

You quoted the words of Blue Hog rider
If you want me to think the show is not scripted, show the full shot when the chump missed a 9-ball for the cheese, instead of pulling back and leaving out the last foot of the shot, so no one really knows if the ball went in, or stayed out with the help from an assistant, or really was a miss.
Don't forget pool has a long and semi-honorable history of dumping today's match to make more money tomorrow. If you want the reality of gambling on pool, you have to include dumping on friends, acquaintances, backers, mothers fathers sisters cousins and wives. Reality TV is based on hurting people, and there is no hurt like what a person feels when they find out they've just been shafted by their family, partner or so-called friend.
It's not all fun and games, this gambling thing, like it might be in a casino where the house always has an edge to provide their profitability so a person leaving winner is actually good for the house in the long run. No, there is always a loser, who may suffer from gambling addiction and be losing the family house payment, or playing on money stolen out of his mother's purse, or, to keep it real, playing on money stolen from the family that owns a car wash.
Action sounds great, but pool action has been declining for years despite all the people claiming to love to see action. You think people will watch this because Scooter is entertaining and might win. I think people will not watch it because of two reasons: the portion of TV viewers interested in pool "action" is a very small percentage; and most of America is already fed up with Unreal Reality TV (no one really believes your claim that it will not be scripted, for sure it will if you ever get to the point where national sponsors are paying the bills). I think you guys are three years or more late to the Reality TV party.
.
I watched them play a match for 1k I think and Spanky dogged many ball after he lost he was talking to a friend of mine and he was saying , I do everything better than he does playing anyone else yet I keep losing to him ,,If you want me to think the show is not scripted, show the full shot when the chump missed a 9-ball for the cheese, instead of pulling back and leaving out the last foot of the shot, so no one really knows if the ball went in, or stayed out with the help from an assistant, or really was a miss.

And last, $2500 is a really small bankroll, why so cheap, especially with such a large crew of bandits?
What's the script say they will do when they go broke - or have you forgot that, in reality, every road player goes broke, barring the few exceptional individuals who have a wife or a business to provide a steady funding stream?
Back in the day of great pool action there were a few backers with huge cash flow streams who were action junkies, unaware and uncaring of where they stood in the win-loss column, willing to take 50% of the winnings and pay off 100% of the losses day after day, a statistically sure way to lose money. They were playing a role of big time gambler, and for all I know enjoying every minute of it, because it was their money to spend as they liked. They injected huge amounts of cash into the pool gambling scene, and kept it afloat. Take away a handful of those backers (or rich losers, same thing) and there never would have been a big pool action scene, just a few guys betting their own money and hoping to make expenses.
Yes, because it will be so easy to fake shots with live rail birds watching, not tied to the show......geez...
Isn't this the same guy who won the Louis Richards award?
This is my speculative proforma for the $40K in 30 days fundraiser:
- $10K "libations"
- $10K "mental enhancements"
- $10K gas, lodging and buffets
- $10K losses
I think I'll save my $15 for popcorn.
160,000 quarters don't go as far as they used to.
I think this is the best idea goin right now for pool. What's not to like, plus a city to city tour while they are in action. With the intent to get this in front of the American public, very cool.
I'm in, just trying to figure out what level im buying in at, the derby city package has peaked my interest ,,,,good luck
