Here are the photos from the recent Amway World Championship.
My wife (who hates all things pool) was very impressed by the level of attention given to the tournament in Taiwan. Media Day, just like at the Super Bowl. Round the clock television coverage. The popular players (Jeanette Lee is THE mega-star in Taiwan, eclipsing even Jennifer Chen) are followed by media, fans, cameramen everywhere they go. Reporters were sleeping in the hallways near the players rooms, waiting for them to emerge. Very different from the USA.
My wife has no idea who any of these people are, so good luck in identifying some of the players (I wish Nostroke was still active here on the forum, he knows EVERYBODY).
