Played some Ghost between matches while on Snooker tournament. Tourney went nicely and won all my 3 matches 3-0, so 9-0 games. Tomorrow continues with 8-cup.
With 9-ball Ghost with BIH not so good... 9-1 :D
Standard 9ft Diamond with pro cut pockets. Dunno pocket size. they play big because cloth is new. I have to check vid if it is okay. probably have at least mute it due background music.

Do any of you guys know your fargorate? It would be cool if we could add that to the scores for fun.

I've played in a total of three tournaments (none reported to fargo) in my entire life so it would be impossible for me to have a Fargo.

I do however, play with several players (from time to time) that are in Fargo and they range from 680ish to 760ish.

When playing 9 ball, 10 ball, poker pool and 14.1, ..... I play even with all of them...... win some / lose some.

When playing 1hole and banks, I give a little weight to the lower end but get a little weight from the higher end, especially in poker pool... not many people play poker pool enough to be efficient at it.....I love it!!!!

I tend to stay with 9 ball, 10 ball, poker pool and 14.1.

I haven't been playing to well here lately but it was a rainy day so I recorded another video. I played terrible but thought I'd post a link just in case anyone wanted to watch. After I quit recording I finally started to play some what better. No need to add this to the front page.

I just this camera in December so I could record and upload the videos to Youtube just in case I want to look back on them.

I believe it. I personally witnessed one of the guys I referred to before beat three guys one after the other with established ratings in the mid 700s in the same night playing even...guy has ZERO games in the fargorate system.

Crazy to think how many players there may still be out there who play that strong and are completely off the fargorate radar.

I have a friend that can play with most anyone rated at 760ish and below and beat their brains out if he catches a gear.

He's never once (that I know of) played in a tournament, not once. He does however "go and watch" one ever now and then.

Some people ask "why wouldn't a person that can play with low to mid-level pros... even-up on most any day and game "not" want to run their legs off chasing tournaments and trying to drum up private matches"???

Well, I can tell you what I "know" to be a fact:

Some, like myself....... dont give a chit about tournaments, who wins them or who beat who.

They also don't have a desire to try to take anyone's money which leads to the reason why people dont see or hear about them matching up for cash and the reasons are:

Some just dont need anymore, they have plenty due to doing something that is almost unheard of in some circles...... it's called having a job/career and not needing a gambler's money...... nor...... give any of their money to them.

I'm no world beater by any means but I know for a fact that there are "unknowns" out there that can give all but the elite a run for their money.

There will always be people that thinks just because of social media etc...etc.. that all the super strong players are well known. Well, this is what I have to say to them:

A fool and their money will soon part. That my friend is a fact.

My match versus Ghost on Diamond table. Table is just re-clothed so it is playing quite easy. I was playing in Snooker tournament, but when my matches always ended about 1 hour before others, I was shooting pool to not get bored. Day after this Ghost match I won that Snooker tournament with all six matches 3-0.
I wanted still shoot some pool and started some 14.1 training and one Snooker player came to challenge me 9-ball small money matches. I played my best speed and trashed him 4 times 7-0 with whooping 15 run outs out of 28 games. He told me he saw lowest ball 3 times ball in whole time. Too bad I had no camera there. two times 4 pack and once 5 pack :D
Got break working then.
Anyways here is my 9-1 victory vs 9-ball ghost. Nine ball on spot, 2 behind the rack. I also try always break like there would be kitchen rule. Even I don´t use it versus ghost normally.

Great shooting. If you hadn’t came up just short on that five ball you could have blanked the ghost.

Shaun V thanks for the response on video editing.

I lost against the Pro 9 Ball ghost 6-7 on 3-21. Oversized 8' w/5' pockets. https://youtu.be/mMWxZkicK-8

and I finally figured it out and got the 7 ball all in 1 video. https://youtu.be/DIAsTnQUTjs

I like doing the ghost thing. Real people are def better to play but since i really started trying to beat the ghost i feel like i've gotten a lot better. Well i have for sure since i used to loose 1-7, 2-7, occasionally 3 but often 0 just a couple months ago and now i'm usually close.

Congratulations on your newfound skill/knowledge level.

All of us from total beginner to elite pro have the one thing in common:

We'll take improvement ANY way we can get it.

Having said that, the more improvement you make....the harder it will get to improve.

Jumping in as I've been trying to get back in stroke for a couple reasons but mainly an upcoming tourney.

Anyway, 10 ball ghost has been getting the best of me but I got him here a few days back and have been giving him a tougher and toughr fight as the days go by.

This one is funny because my girl is roller blading around the table as I play. The first part failed the upload and I deleted it before I realized it. Oh well more to come. I'm getting shark proofed at least.

Won this one 7-4. Will post some losses too.

Thanks Basement. I’ll add your scores when I’m back on my computer. Do you have an established fargorate by chance?

I’ve thought about doing a 10 ball video but I haven’t played much 10 ball in a long time so it will probably be ugly Maybe try to do a video in the next couple weeks

Good shooting!

I’m always curious when I see players with a really nice cue action like yours...do you have a coach or teacher? Or did you just learn from watching the better players in your area? I know snooker is played a lot more in Canada than here in the US, so I was thinking maybe you started on a snooker table.
