Just got it a couple hours ago.
My initial take is no one would mistake it for a high end custom.
But considering the price point it is outstanding.
Highly figured Bocote wood looks good.
Edit here on the Bocote-it's a light color not deep brown.
The fit and finish is perfect, everything is flush and smooth.
The linen wrap is done well but not pressed real smooth it has grip to it.
Real smooth wrap or wrap with grip would be a personal preference.
My Lucasi linen is smooth to the point that it feels like leather, this will take some getting used to.
Might have to have it pressed some more.
The shaft wood is not the best but it is acceptable.
The shaft taper is good but not the same as my Lucasi but close enough.
The balance feels very neutral.
That's it for now.
I will play with it on Saturday.

I played with the cue today.
It plays great.
It came with an Ultra skin soft tip.
I'm not a big fan of layered tips but it played just fine.
Overall I'm impressed with the cue.
For $230 and free shipping it's a deal.

Forgot this.
I took the bumper off and there is no weight bolt.
How do they vary the weight?

They vary the dimensions. They prefer no bolt, so the joint and butt diameters are changed to achieve the weight they want.

Also, sometimes standard dimensions get lucky.

Under the bumper there is a drilled out area.
Do you think they adjust the weight by how much material is removed?
