Howzit guys.. :)
Disclaimer: I am not a Cue Maker.
I am not out for Fame or COTY.
Around 2012, (?)
I did buy some 4 Point Ebony into Maple Full Spliced Blanks (@ $87.00 each) from ATLAS BILLIARDS, and, 4 Point Color Veneer Full Spliced Blanks from PRATHER'S CUE SUPPLY (@ $180.00 ?)

I was a "Cue Assembler".
I bought the Black and White Linen Fiber Tubes.
The Shafts.. I buy "3rd Cut" blanks from Atlas at $29.00 each.. They arrive with "Taper Rolls" already warpped in. so, nothing much I could do. so..:embarrassed2:
I Bought a bar of Mason H. 's Ferulle Material and bought the CHAMPION Tips from a 20 year old stock that Hawaiian Brian's Pro Shop had. ($3.00 each).
So, Material cost for each was way under 200.00 for the ebony point cues, and, under 300 for the Veneered Cues. :)

The rest was labor and shop time/expense. 16 Propellers. :embarrassed2:

Here is my "Tasc Twins"..

"Hoppe" butt is .300" Black and .200" White Hoppe Ring.
Woods are Rosewoods and Maple.
Notice.. no Fancy Cue Caps?
Thanks for viewing

Thanks...

:smile:Thanks Chris..

Forgot to thank you guys on the other TS post by Ken.
Thanks for posting.
Hey Bava. :) Thanks for saying that about me and cuemaking.
Here's another.
Guess the maker.. :grin-square:

These Ebony Ful Splice Blanks were only 87 dollars back then.
Cue and Shaft was about $130.00 in Materials.
Hit didn't matter. My Slogan...
"I miss, I missed." -

White material for Butt Cap and Inlays is Alternative Ivory.
If you look good, you can see the "Grain" pattern on the Butt Cap.
The white is more of a cream color, as, it is not as white as the White Linen Fiber Joint Collar.
Plus, that Alternative Ivory is actually soft, and, compresses, hence, I use the Linen Fiber for the Joint Collar.
Thanks for viewing.

Propellers

1st. - Thank you 9 Ball Fan.. :)

Here is my "Vintage" Propeller Cue.
It is not the elegant Propeller shape that Gus and Pete used.
When it comes to Propellers, look at the shape. The " Attention to details"
is all in the smaller Propeller's Roots and Blades.

Again, The Ebony Full Spliced Blank from ATLAS BILLIARD SUPPLY.
I don't know who makes them for Atlas.
Engraved Weight Bolt by me

Thanks to Bill Stroud, I have and use Uni-Loc* Radial Joint Screws for all the Cues I "Make".
Thanks for viewing..
Alton :)

HUB Cue

Hello guys..
1st. Thanks for saying that Measureman.

This is my "Hub" cue I made with an ATLAS Ebony Full Spliced Blank.
I saw butt caps, something like this, on those Brunswick Hub cues.
They just ended with a White Collar. :)

Heavy Arched Slotted Diamonds a la Travis at Blackcreek
Inlays are cool, but, they take a long time, as, I got to make 4 inlays and pockets for the Forearm and 4 more for the butt section.

Shafts I "make", are 29 dollar, 3rd cut blanks, with 3 dollar, old Champion tips.
Szamboti White Stiched Decorative Rings at the Joint Collars.
Campared to a $200 LD shaft with 30+ dollar Tips, of course it hits "different". :embarrassed2:
But, my whole cue cost the same as that 1 special shaft and that 1 special cue tip..
and, most guys are not even "A" Class, that are "Rating" my cue... ( No disrespect intended)

Thanks for viewing..
Alton

Cues

Thanks Maxx..
Hello Duc,
No, I do not sell any cues.
Thanks for asking.. :)

Since I'm here..
This was my favorite cue I "Made".

I no longer have any of these Cues I made.
I do not play pool anymore.
I have not been to a pool room since 2014.
So, I threw them all away.
Not worth keeping :)

Thanks for viewing.
Alton :)
