Nice OLD (August 1968) article about Ernie from SPORTS ILLUSTRATED entitled:

"What Can A Girl Give A Hustler Who Has Everything? Answer: A Jeweled Ginacue"

Impressive a guy can be at the absolute top of his art for over 40 years!

Ginacue Article

Joe

And in 40 more years it could be all about WHEAT CUES !!!

Nice

Great article.

Go on eBay and find that SI issue. Cut the article out. Frame it. Present it to Ernie (I don't believe it is in his office on the walls) and maybe he'll give you a free joint protector (the cheap black kind) on your next Gina.

Begs the question of who has the Dean Martin Ginacue?

accurate or not?

didn't this cue have a pair of ballet shoes on one of the panels? i drooled over it in one of john wright's mailings. anybody else remember it? i know someone else does. i thought all four of the "RAT PACK" all had a cue made by ernie.

My Domino came out of that same garage, several years before that article was written. ;)

I like the part where it said Ernie has turned down $4 grand for the Silver Gina.:grin-square:
