THIS is one book I would absolutely LOVE to see written. Just imagine the life story of one of the greatest pool players in history. His unassuming easy going attitude, and his incredible talent would make for some great stories. All the unknown hustles would make for more great reading. It may not ever happen but if it does I would be in line for that book, then there could be a movie just think about the possibilities!!!
Maybe I am just a dreamer but just imagine....

Forget about an autobiography....
...a biographer who is fluent in Tagalog will have me as a customer.

Danny Diliberto's Road Player came out fine with Jerry Forsyth writing it.

Not every player is a Helfert

^right. someone fluent in Filipino who knows Efren very well, someone who has followed him all throughout his career, and most importantly someone who is familiar with the evolution and culture of pool here in the Philippines.

That would be such an awesome insight into a great player. I can imagine some of things hes been through.
