Count me in. This is a great way to hold players accountable on staying focused with their game.

Is there any other place to upload videos than YouTube? As YouTube only allows you to upload a 10 minute video.

Do we post our results and videos on this thread?

I'm headed to the pool room to start right now.

Hope to be one of the top results.

Great shooting Steve!

Put me down for a 45 on 01/02/2011.

I finished a rack of 4, ran two more racks, ran 13 more then missed this shot.

CueTable Help

I had ended a little too close to the rail for comfort, but had been struggling through this rack anyhow.

This was on a 9-foot table at Rusty's in Arlington, TX.

Nice shootin Sam...seems like with the struggles of the last rack you should of regrouped with this uncomfortable shoot....take a few extra seconds, have some water wipe off hands etc to clear your head for the awkward shot.

It seems like we were all out on 1/2/11 vying for a good spot on the list...good shooting everyone

Sebastian Staab (seppl85) ran a 112 yesterday, i am downloading the video now for him. he doesnt know how to do it. i will contact the mods and have it added to the run challenge.

Thanks! This is actually my high run on a 9-foot table and 2 off from my career high run. I hope to hit 50 this year now that I've been playing a little more 14.1. Another inch off the rail and I think I would have made the 5-ball. I was uncomfortable and may rushed the shot just a bit.

Hey,

nice shooting, but only half of the video plays....

I believe it has something to do with Veoh, i remember that from some time ago. can you upload it to Vimeo ? they give you 500mb per week to work with, and you dont have to download there player to watch the full video.

Hey Steve,

I just watched the video and the whole thing plays. I think it was because I had just finished loading it and it wasn't 100% completed. Can you try it again and see if you can get through the whole thing?

My file is over 500mb so I would have to pay for a subscription with Vimeo to upload these large videos. If we continue to have problems I will just have to subscribe as it is only $60 for a year.

There is no need to do that. when you encode the video, just pick a lower resolution which will in turn make the file size smaller. you dont need super high quality for pool i do it all the time because i record in HD and those files are huge !

You can post in this thread if you like. Especially if you have videos so everyone can take a look and comment. If you've just got a new run for the list with not much of interest, you can just PM me. Either way is fine.

Hi folks:

Although a great run nonetheless, the table in the video above appears to be a Valley bar table (or if not Valley, it's at most a 7-footer). Are we allowed to post runs on "non-14.1-standard" equipment?

(I ask, because though it was technically last year, on Dec. 29th [while I was out there for the holidays], I ran a 143 in Greenfields Pool & Sports Bar in Lakewood, CO, on their "free pool all day" Wednesday. I didn't report it because, as with all tables in Greenfields, it was a Valley 7-footer, and I thought nothing of it.)

47 on 1/3/2010

Ran 47 on 1/3/2011 at Jack n Jill's in Wilkes-Barre, PA before touching a ball while bridging over it. Replaced the ball and got to 69 before coming up short on the break ball. If it weren't for the damned foul I would've been the first to perform a 69 on a Gold Crown in 2011!
