Its unfortunate so few registered for these events. It looks like you listed the only Pros that are actually signed up.

Ya'll should really reconsider your streaming prices. $70 for the three events with those few players? :eek:

Brumback needs to get out to Vegas :thumbup:

Yeah it is sad how few players signed up for the Bank tournament. My friend signed up and is excited to play but is disappointed at the lack of turnout. With only 20 people signed up, they should just do that tournament in 1 or 2 days max instead of drawing it out.

Thought I understand how expensive it is to do quality live streams of pool, the cost of the live stream for this is a wee bit high. The people who run it are first class, though, and I appreciate the fact that they offer this live stream to the pool fans.

Sometimes reasons why pool players attend one event and not another has to do with logistics, timing of when other events are happening. They may want to attend multiple events in a vicinity that offer a good payout. For Americans, Vegas may be more convenient than for Europeans or Asians, unless, of course, our overseas counterparts are already in the vicinity.

Wish CSI much future success! We need all the pool we can get in USA to keep our players in shape as well as attract new talent. :)

90% of the top one pocket players are at Buffalo's Pro One Pocket Classic. 16 players with 2k entry. 100k up for grabs with 60k in the Calcutta. Pagulayan, Bustamante, Frost, Chohan, Deuel, Reyes, Gomez, Smith, Roberts, Hall, Orcollo, Jones, Compton.

There will always be some late entries. The 500 entry fee might be a little steep for the Shortstops. It's still a good opportunity for players to get experience and have a shot to get in the money, especially with most of the big guns elsewhere.

Pouring down rain so will look forward to watching Bob Jewett play this afternoon. Was enjoying him on some of Dr. Dave's vids this morning and always enjoy his contributions here. Enjoyed the bank pool final yesterday - some great shots made, SVB had some gutsy several cushion critical banks, but watching a few of those matches resulted in me watching mostly for the occasional great bank shot and not really "getting" it as a game, but that's just me. Really looking forward to some 14.1 - seems kind of "throwback"!

but who are these guys commentating on the SVB/Kiamco match?

they repeated all day yesterday that Warren knows nothing about 14.1, and has "probably not played it much" and now today claimed "we had to explain the rules to him" (which they did for hours yesterday and were consistently wrong).

Warren has played many hundreds of hours of straight pool and placed near the top in numerous 14.1 championships. he certainly understands the rules and knows the nuances of proper straight pool.

meanwhile, they are complete sycophants about SVB, just now commenting about a "brilliant safety" he played, which was actually a blatant miss on the 8 ball in the side pocket, and crashed into a number of balls with the cue, but they described how genius it was to move all those balls and leave Warren safe. and then gushed over how he played the [standard] 3-rail out from a behind-the-rack break. [!]

i have no horse in this race, i love both players' games. but the commentary on all these matches has been beyond silly. these guys are now repeating for the umpteenth time their SHOCK at a player taking the 3rd foul, which they assert "almost never comes up". Hello?!?!?
