Slate Repair Method

I received great instruction from RKC regarding broken slate repair. Here are a few pictures of the process and the end result. So first things first, if you’re reading this... THANKS GLEN!

I picked up a Gold Crown 3 for free due to the person not knowing what table he had and on of the slates were damaged. So after studying some instruction and purchase of proper material I took on the job of repair and install. Got the table cleaned up and the castings powder coated as well.

Well done.
I assume you used some type of epoxy.

No, that's the first of the new GC3 slates, in fact it should be pinned and modeled, because it still has the sloped pocket shelf cut.

Great job on the repair! I remember reading RKC's thread on this a few years ago except I seem to remember cans of soup being used instead of beer.
