Garten Bierbower!
Ohio
For those who don't know who Garten is....well, Garten was a hell of a pool player in his prime and even now he shoots pretty sporty!
He is very likeable guy with thousands of stories on the time when pool was different, when there were much more road players than there are today, much more money games, bets and when players lived totally different life they live today!
At some point he learned and put a lot of impact on Max Eberle!
Anyway, beside that Garten builds really great cues and since he is a player he knows exactly how great cue should hit!
I tried out this cues and have to say that I was impressed. It is greatly balanced with medium-stiff hit and with lots of energy. They are highly consistent and although I played with it only today I am 99% sure it will keep on being consistent in the future. For consistency, the most important is that the cue was built and constructed great and that there were no cheap materials used in it and that wood was treated it should be treated.
The look of the cues is old school type of look and in some segments it reminds on Schon cues but still there is something different and unique what makes it unique. Garten put personal touch at it!!!
I am amazingly delighted with them and share lots of appreciation for exactly this type of cue makers as Garten is. It is really hard not to appreciate cues built by hand and the way and using techinques cues were making in the past!
So, enjoy the pics!
