Cooking up a singles tournament league using Fargorate “Plan C” league format,
made this worksheet,
the names and fargorate scores are real from last years’ bca league,
all that’s needed are some scores - some hypothetical scores;
thinking it would be more fun if disinterested impartial input were to happen.
Here are the match-ups:
1st Round
2 games 8ball 10pt scoring: 1 pt per ball, 3pt for the 8. If there are any note worthy comments about a win or loss, that would be OK.
POD 2 : 15 (225) 1st score____ 2nd score____ Total ____ vs. ____ Total ____ 2nd score ____ 1st score 13 (136)+2
POD 4 : 16 (303) 1st score____ 2nd score____ Total ____ vs. ____ Total ____ 2nd score ____ 1st score 14 (294)even
POD 6 : 5 (382) 1st score____ 2nd score____ Total ____ vs. ____ Total ____ 2nd score ____ 1st score 7 (381)even
POD 8 : 10 (400) 1st score____ 2nd score____ Total ____ vs. ____ Total ____ 2nd score ____ 1st score 12 (391)even
POD 10 : 1(403) 1st score____ 2nd score____ Total ____ vs. ____ Total ____ 2nd score ____ 1st score 6 (401)even
POD 12 : 4 (433) 1st score____ 2nd score____ Total ____ vs. ____ Total ____ 2nd score ____ 1st score 11(408)even
POD 14 : 8 (510) 1st score____ 2nd score____ Total ____ vs. ____ Total ____ 2nd score ____ 1st score 3 (505)even
POD 16 : 9 (557) 1st score____ 2nd score____ Total ____ vs. ____ Total ____ 2nd score ____ 1st score 2 (512)+2
Copy and paste your scores in PRIVATE MESSAGE, would be best to keep it
interesting and arbitrary, or, not, if you want to post it up, that’s fine.
30 min. or so I’ll post the results, it will be tomorrow now to pick back up on this…
If there is more than one response I’ll use the old fashion averaging probability
consensus form and then the next matchups will follow.
The “POD” part of this is how the scores enter into fargo “as if” in team format,
players populate the team (fargo) score sheet as they land in (“POD”space) in each
round of the 6 round tournament. Between using the “sub and the add a player”
feature for each POD/TEAM I’m thinking I’m ready to fill the fargo score sheet.
6 rounds of 2 games, 8ball, 10pt scoring, BCA League rules.
This is in test mode.
The side action here is calling a WIN, PLACE OR SHOW of the 16 possible “POD’s”.
It’s akin to filling squares in a football pool, it takes all rounds played to fill the PODS
with players and their scores, each POD has the same amount of winning scores for
each round, the single ball pocketed total and added weight is going to be the difference, the speculation…
something to do..
