Great matchup. I like the under...something just tells me that one of these guys catches a gear late and strings together a big package. It seems to me that SVB has improved his safety play in the past year or so, could be the difference...that ans Shaw's temper.

If I was a bettin' man, I would take Shane and the under.

10 ball, template, RYO, going to 100?
This is like Tiger Woods playing on his favorite course with his favorite gear.
Hard to imagine him not winning.

The score is supposed to be close but we've seen otherwise great players get
demoralized in TAR matches and lose by 20+ racks.

For Shane, rack your own is worth ten on the wire. My pick is SVB.

Neutral racker and this match is super-close.

Major Shane fan here.

I have seen Shane slip a tad in the past year and nobody makes the game look easier than Jayson when he is feeling it. I think Jayson takes this one down but I will be rooting for SVB:wink:

If your assessment is true, and I have no reason to believe that it is not, then these rack your own contests are unprofessional BS and is holding pool back IMO. Frankly, I don't even want to know how racking your own with a template is such an advantage. It doesn't pass the smell test of being within the spirit of fair play. I hope I'm wrong

Pardon my ignorance here.
Are you still able to manipulate enough on a template rack to gain an advantage?

Asking for a friend.

What the heck?

Why is it rack your own given their history, for craps sake.

I'll take Shane, better temperament, especially in long matches.
