You all shall be named BOB from now on - Bunch of B/+@#=$. It really should be bunch of non betting b/+@#=$. But I can live with BOBS. can you? Of course you can, you stand behind a screen and cheer once the action is over if it's in your favor. Pathetic if you ask me, but that's the "man" bun society we live in now. Dont worry 'fellas" there's Maxi Pads in the "mens" bathroom nowadays.

When the beers be kicking in.

gave him just enough rope to hang himself

With a score of 6-4, I would say DO knew just when to make his move.

Jeff,

Certainly could be true reading a little of the scoring line the next morning. As I always say, pretty much impossible to make a fair game when there is this much difference in skill levels. If Bobby did jump out front and force Dennis into defensive mode I have to think Dennis could move far better.

Then again, Dennis and company could have just been angling for set two or more. Winning just got back old losses and got him fifteen up from what I read. Not much when you are being backed. Of course I assume the backers lost the whole $35K and Dennis got his usual split of the fifty in which case he did fine, his backers may still be in the hole a little. I don't know of course, not privy to their arrangements.

What makes you think Dennis moves better than Jrb?

Was that statement made with the impression that Dennis was stalling and then came off the stall when losing 4-0 or that he was under the gun and had to step it up a notch and dig deep so as to not lose the set?

No one can consistently beat the casino.

It's a good thing that poker players don't actually play against the casino (excluding rake)

Not true, actually. I made a living by beating casinos at video poker for several years in Blackhawk, Colorado. Eventually all the casinos either banned me for my "highly skilled level of play" or they took away the promotional offerings that gave me the edge. I did it with my dad, who is a statistician. We were making A LOT of money, but it took the casinos a while to realize it. After we got barred, we contacted the gaming commission to protest and were told that casinos have the right to refuse service to anyone. But years later another video poker pro I know actually had the gaming commission decide in his favor. So now instead of kicking players out they just downgrade the games or strip the promotions to make it unprofitable. Sorry for the rant I just felt triggered by your post haha. I miss those days of not having a real job.

Tall Bobby comes into my home room occasionally. People in the know have his speed clocked accurately, and the game with Dennis is fair IMO. He is probably the best action in pool right now. Last time I saw him he was trying to play someone one pocket $300 a ball until all the balls were gone. Interesting game.

I like playing that way. 300 is over my head though

This coming from the guy who cowered after I offered him the 7 out and all the breaks when he tried to high roll me!

Yes, we called the bet off when it wasnt streamed. Somebody posted the score was 4-2 JRB, didn't hear a peep from all you "experts" that "knew" DO was gonna win at that point. Hind site makes a champion bettor out of everybody. Like I said, not a peep when it was 4- 2 JRB

Experts? Me? Lol....don't think so.

As for action, well, I rarely bet on anyone but myself. Furthermore, I sure as hell wouldn't bet on a match I could watch.

It sounds to me like your more of an expert than I, sir.

Jeff

Edit:

On second thought, if your really wanting to bet, I'm pretty sure that Roy would take whatever bet you throw at him.

I'm not a pro at anything but, Roy may have some insight with picking a winner.

Give Roy a call and let us know what you decide to lay on the line. Maybe us BS'ers can learn something by watching you bet it up with Roy.

Let us know how much you win. We may need to hold something.
