believe it or not I was unfamiliar with the term until
one of our members explained it to me this morning

even though I wsnot familiar with the term, I have been guilty of
an exceesive zeal for selling cues etc
Buoyed on by an excess energy that I like to blame on my diabetic sugar
levels,I have been guilty of spaming which I understand to be selling in an improper and unwanted area.
in excess amounts and not altogether void of bad taste

I get carried away and feel like what I have to say is witty or important and I have aggrivated some of our best members

Please accept my apologies and i will have a full purpose and endeavor to do right,

We may not agree on some things, but, that is ok.

You are a known cue dealer and have a great reputation. I don't think you did it with any intent, as in you were not posting actual Ads. You love pool and love talking about cues. Nothing wrong with that. This forum is the wild wild west most of the time, so who cares if you did a bit of what I call "self promotion". Not that you really need to do that, anyone on here that is into cues, knows who you are. I hope you are well.

my wife is a reading teacher,i live with advice,but
it doesn't seem to be taking hold

Better explain before I admit being short and end up with
a house full of Ms.

I was told it was selling in the wrong places like the telephone
solicitors selling extended warranty

I am begginning
to think you are going to tell me that it is just existing

Ms is the plural of M. You were short one each time you misspelled spamming.

It became spam to me when i clicked on the thread. My mistake to have viewed the thread. I am no longer viewing deanoc threads to avoid being spammed

Well, Mr Poole, you are full of contradictions.

Even if what Dean is doing could be called "spam", which by the very definition you provided it is not, then how are YOU being SPAMMED by clicking on a thread???

You can't personally be spammed since the post was not sent to you.

You made the decision to click and read a post available to the general public, on an open public forum.

By clicking you are not being spammed, and by not clicking, you are similarly not avoiding being spammed.

Dang, anyone hungry for spam and eggs?

Maybe I'm wrong but by the definition above if anyone wants Dean to continue to post it wouldn't be unsolicited and therefore would not be considered Spam. And by the same definition anyone who comments on anything other than the origional solicited post would be considered the Spam. And since my post is on something other than Dean's apology I guess it is Spam
