he left for Dubai yesterday or today, he was invited to go for something, i'm not sure what but I can promis you that its a smarter move than Turning Stone, sux that it was at the same time.

Turning Stone is a great venue to watch a tourney in. Mike Z does a wonderful job in my opinion. I recommend if anyone can go that they should at least once.

Another good thing is there are 2 of these a year (February & August) and you can usually see a good variety of known players at either. But since it's the biggest tourney for upstate NY, you of course get a lot of local and lesser known entries as well.
