Awsome I am happy that we are gonna keep doing this.

Hopefully before this year is out I will be able to beat my best.

I did get a chance to play earlier today and I decide to give a single run a try before I left for work. I made the break ball, pocketed a long tough shot, cleared a ball of the rail, broke into the pack again and scratched. This was my first game of 14.1 this year and my high run for the year is 3.:D

Hopefully I'll do better on wednesday.

Whoo Hoo!!! I'm in 1st! :p But knowing all the great players on the forum I know that won't last so let me just bask in the glory :cool: I had a run of 52 on Sunday night; so does that put me at 130 now? :rolleyes: :D

Congrats to mworkman on his new high run of 63 and to TheOne of 121. Anytime anyone breaks their high run, I believe they deserve a pat on the back. :D

One question about this. Are you guys running these balls on your own or are you playing against someone when you do it. I don't practice racks by myself very often other than to practice my break shots. My runs will be done during game situations. Is that OK?

My run came during a friendly game. Although I ran 60 and change to win the game, I continued shooting to continue the run; so most of the balls I ran were of significant value. It's when the game was over that I started getting a little cocky. Serves me right too for playing for such a tough secondary break shot. :(

How do you get started? Do you throw the balls out and take ball in hand anywhere? Or do you keep playing safeties on yourself? lol

Linda, are serious? If not... ya got me..

Rack up 14 balls in the rack. Set up a straight pool break by placing the loose OB and CB anywhere you like to execute the break shot. Shoot until you miss tally up your score.
