Quick question:

What's the disparity, if any, between men's and women's pool/billiards players earnings/prize monies?

Like other sports, do men's tournaments at the pro level feature higher prize money? Or are they basically equal?

Seems to be about 2-1...women seem to get paid about half what men do.
It may be better in Asia, where the majority of women pros come from.

This site has a historical earnings list. It's on https://azbilliards.com

Click on the "People" button. There are all-time lists for men and women.

There are precious few women’s pro tournaments (wpba) in the US anymore, certainly no more than 4-5 at the most. Although there’s no sanctioned men’s pro tour, the men have many more mostly open entry tournaments to choose from, whereby anyone pro or amateur can pony up their entry fee and play. So if you’re looking at the top 10 tournament $ winners list, men’s and women’s, there will be a huge discrepancy largely because of this fact.
