Is the joint wood to wood or does the shaft have a phenolic insert?

Bob does not do bumperless. However, the bumper can easily be removed. He did switch to the plugin bumper instead of the screwing ones he used before.

.

I like a finished end with a polished bolt or screw. Thanks regardless. Nice cues you have posted.

I just ordered and received my second Bob Frey sneaky from Gene. One day shipping, you can't beat that. Thanks Gene for the fast service and great packing. This time I ordered what Gene called the "true" sneaky, the B7. While it's true that it has no rings or collars the wood is beautiful and no one would mistake it for a house cue.

But sneaky it is. My wife was out of the house today so she never saw the cue arrive. Down in the basement it went, to join a fleet of other sneaky's. That's what they mean by sneaky pete, right?

I really like the darker cocobolo in the B3 but prefer the buttcap as in the B4. Fyi, the B3 is still listed for sale on the Bob Frey website...
