First off, I would like to thank everyone who came in from all over the country making this event what it turned out to be. Another big thanks goes out to the owners of Diamond Billiards (Billy Incardona, Bumper Man, "Diamond" Dean Ragland, Tommy Ray, Wade Crane, and Red Bird...) for making all of this possible. The owners of Diamond Billiards are committed to making pool great again in the Dallas area.

This was only the beginning of several huge events to come in our regions future. Keep in mind that we only had 13 players but check out the payout!!! And the full $7,000 was added as guaranteed...There was action around the clock during this event...

The results

Cliff Joyner - 1st $6,850
Billy Incardona - 2nd $4,850
Roger Griffis - 3rd - $3750
Steve Smith - 4th - 6th $2750
Jeremy Jones - 4th - 6th $2750
Robert Newkirk - 4th - 6th $2750

Total Payout - $23,700

Thank You All

After watching most of the tournement and a lot of the side action, I want to thank Diamond Billiards for the live feed. What a delight! I was left with this observation: whoever matches up in one-pocket with Billy Incardona better bring their lunch; whoever matches up in one-pocket with Cliff Joyner (unless their first name is Efren) better bring their bankruptcy lawyer.

It was great to spend a few days in Dallas and sweat all the action. The action is non stop!

Congratulations

to the guys at Diamond Billairds. Everyone really appreciates what you guys are doing.

By the way, a chance to put in a "plug" for the US Open One Pocket going on at the "Qlympics" in Louisville, Ky.

It is Nov 5- 9 (Monday thru Friday (if needed).

$5,000 guaranteed add and THERE ARE ONLY 12 PLAYERS SIGNED UP SO FAR!!!!!

All of the events at Qlympics are pretty light so far. I know players wait until the last minute - but we need players. We are NOT cancelling and will just hope more decide to show up.

The action reprot will be there with SVB vs Earl and Harriman vs Schmidt. Lot happening!!

Sign-ups will be accepted on sight. Questions, contaact the BCA Pool League.

Mark I planned to be at the US Open 1 pkt. But in trying to get flights to Louisville from Manhatten has been proved to be a hassle. They only have small planes 50 seaters. I dont trust them as a good friend of mine died in one. The only other way is to fly to Dallas or Chicago and come back but the flight would be about 7 hours. When you had it in Vegas it was more convenient. I just thought I'd let you know what some of the problems are. I'm going to try and get a ride with someone.

Thanks for the input, I appreciate it.

Locations are REAL hard to find in Vegas. I thought Louisville would be a better and more central location.

I am hoping we get a lot of last minute sign-ups or this might be a very expensive experiment.

Total GUARANTEED added money is $20,000 in the US Open events, PLUS $100 per player over 50 in each event.

PLUS $10,000 in the amatuer events. Hope to see everyone there. It look like the fields will be light so spread the word and tell everybobdy to come and get some $$$$.

I'll vouch for that other than the "Riv" Vegas has priced out alot more events than pool, they are losing trade shows etc. Vegas overall is getting a little too proud of what they have and are pricing people into Indian casinos etc.
