Below is a good example of how this forum works. Each of the below posts are from one or possibly two different threads from the same couple of days. The member making each of the comments is 'Hungarian'.

All of these comments were directed at me by 'Hungarian' without me replying wth similar language.

Each and every one of these comments will now return this:

"404 - File or directory not found.The resource you are looking for might have been removed, had its name changed, or is temporarily unavailable."

. . when pasted into your URL address box because Mr. Wilson later wiped the entire thread or threads to destroy the evidence of 'Hungarian's' behavior.

Not long after being subjected to 'Hungarian's' creepy toilet mouth which I suspect is a good window on his basic character I received this PM from 'Mr. Wilson':

A more accurate description would have been only warning. Apparently, toilet-mouth 'Hungarian' is the arbiter of whether or not a member is "friendly" or "community toned". Interesting. My PM reply is below after which I was promptly banned. Nice forum:

A complaint from people who routinely use language like that below and which you have never expressed any problem with and which they obviously take as a green light? Do you have any similar examples from me without having been subjected to the same numerous times with you saying nothing?

Why are we airing dirty laundry?

Why is it necessary to take Private Messages and make them public?

No need to get overanxious about it. I'm sure I will soon be gone because 'mr. wilson' and certain club members prefer darkness.

I'm just not so sure where to draw the line, that's all.

It seems that a lot of PM stuff ends up in threads and it only serves to ignite drama rather than accomplish anything.

Good. We do have something in common then. Being repeatedly called a "little pussy", a "douche", a "clown" and an "ass" by 'Hungarian' doesn't get me overly anxious.

As a separate issue, though, I just wonder why I would be banned for two months rather than him when I didn't use any similar language in those threads and actually tried to be polite to him?

Wow, you might really be on to something...

Except for a couple small problems with your post.

The 404 errors are because you pasted the url into the message wrong. You don't get a 404 error when you link to a removed thread. You get a vbulletin error saying the thread doesn't exist.

And I checked the moderator log. Wilson has not removed any posts in the last two days.

You want to try again?

I dunno...I don't run the joint and don't like to speculate on such matters.

I myself have stepped out of line...wasn't entirely sure how...and figured it out later. Turns out I was being quite the jackass. Happens to anybody.

In your case, I honestly have no idea as I have not followed along with the issue, so I can't even guess what might be the problem.

Is anyone disputing the accuracy of his quotes of hungarian? If not, was hungarian banned for two months? And now it sounds like you banned risky biz again because he questioned it?

I know hungarian wasn't banned because he's been posting here the past two months. It looks like the disciplinary rules don't apply to him when he violates the rules but they do apply to someone who doesn't violate the rules.

Mentioning this probably means I get banned, too, right? So what.

Oh yes, you are banned too....but it is because this is another multiple alias ban.
These are common. FL invented them and we are adept at diposing of them too.

Technically I think it is referred to as "suicide by moderator." risky seems to have done a swan song of five or six posts in quick succession over in the "Earl runs 11 and wins a million" thread. Maybe he saw the writing on the screen.
