The most I ever spent for a pool cue............

I traded a '91 Mottey Cue (8 pts w/ piloted ivory joint) plus cash so I could get
an Ed Prewitt cue (4 pts/flat ivory joint). Both cue-makers are just top notch &
below are photos of both cues.Traded w/ Cornerstone Cues & Bill was great too.

I believe so sir. You can rest assured if it wasn’t for her (and my kid in college) I’d still have it 😥. I’ll tell you the Bushka plays and feels almost identical to my Searring though. Enjoy it.

$900 Ebony Cognoscenti Plane Jane with 2 shafts, basically new. Bought it from a pool friend since he was upgrading from Joey. (Joey came to our pool hall and I currently live 4 blocks from his shop)

Sold it because I was broke, and had a custom modified canadian dufferin that played better for me.

Lol. I actually have progress pics that I take myself everytime they get worked on, it all depends on my work/vacation schedule. But still a funny comment:thumbup:
Jason

Trust me, we look forward to seeing them.

As well as, the last documents of the Kennedy assassination...

As well as, the pictures of the alien bodies at Roswell.

What would be the most rare?

All the best,
WW

2750. New from custom maker. Cue was already made. Small changes made to to tailor it for me. Cue was valued a bit higher then what I paid. My father and I have a lot of cues from this maker and have sent a lot of work to him, so he cuts us good deals.

Great thread!

Mine is 25 years old

Used, bought from a friend

Ebony points with a simple ivory spearhead in each

Plain ebony back end

Green spec linen wrap

Six shafts with ivory ferrules

Black, orange, green and natural veneers

Steel joint

Hits three tons (it would probably never miss if I wasn't the one holding it)

Fairly well known maker...

Bought a cue I relate to forged irons, lot of feedback, not necessarily easy to make good shots.

Friend loaned me his cue before I bought of the same shaft and brand to try for a week.

I couldn't make crap.

Still bought one.

But, practiced and played a ton. Love it now.

I'll keep saying it...

A cue needs to be straight, w a good tip and mostly, have the owners confidence in it to play well.
