Joss NE 9-Ball Tour Joins in the N.U.T.S.

In a telephone conversation with Mike Zuglan we were able to come to an agreement regarding the Joss NE 9-Ball Tours participation with the New Unified Tour System.

Starting immediately all Joss tour events will participate in the N.U.T.S.

The next event on the Joss NE 9-Ball Tour Schedule will be at:

Golden Cue Billiards
Albany, NY
518-459-9442
April 16 - 17, 2005
$3000 added

Now call the UPA and tell them to join you or you will start putting your tournaments on the same days as theirs!

ON a more serious note if your tournaments are going to get huge in the NUTS at the top end talking to the World Pool Championships people and getting some spots for the winners as Worlds Qualifiers would be smart just to protect your tournaments from the UPA who have decided to wield their qualification spots like a sword and cut down all the other tournaments in the USA using them.

I guess a good way to start is, show up at the tournaments and
SUPPORT YOUR N.U.T.S

WHENEVER POSSIBLE.

Right now three (3) things can be done to help.

1. Play in and support as many events in the NUTS network.
(Joss Tour, Viking Tours, Planet-Pool Tours and Fury Tour events)

2. Support our lodging sponsor ( RED ROOF INNS ).
Anyone that stays at any RED ROOF INN and uses the code CP530832 when they check inn will get a 12% discount off of their stay. That's better than the AAA rate. Also, if you use that code and sign-up for a FREE Ready Card at Red Roof you get one (1) FREE nights stay at the Red Roof Inn of your choice after you have stayed 10 times. 3. Spread the word about the N.U.T.S. Whenever you go play pool start talking about it and let people know we are out there.

Some of the best advice ever on this board, imho.

One other thing about the Red Roof Inns....Thank the manager for being part of the pool world. Let him/her know how much you appreciate their support.

And I must say this, based on my experience with (some) pool players: don't trash the rooms or waste their resources. It pisses me off when I see this, and I've seen it waaaaay too many times by league players on a weekend spree.
