DCT - Sunday June 24th

Saturday drew 45 players to Pocket's in Tucson, AZ for the DCT's 3rd Event for 2012. Players from Phoenix, Tucson and New Mexico came out to test their talents. As you looked across the room you saw player after player and thinking that guy is a favorite, no that guy is and this guy will do well and that guy can really play with no clear favorite emerging. The field included Mitch Ellerman, Bobby Emmons, Chris Paradowski, Chuck Evans, Tres Kane, Dennis Orender, Tom Neil, Rudy Alameda, Mike Sandoval, Pete Lhotka, Rick Galloway and a host of talent that are emerging up and coming players such as Mike Hamman, Jerry Stuckart, Ken Gouso and Tony Tully. Missing from the mix were some of the common names on the leader boards for the Tour such as Scott Frost, Gus Briseno, Bernie Pettipiece, Mike Pankoff and Preacher Ronn. What a day!

At the end of the day some of the players coming back on Sunday will be Chuck Evans, Bobby Emmons, Mitch Ellerman, Chris Paradowski. Some matches were played late Saturday night, player's choice, that were scheduled for Sunday so that the visiting Phoenix player could drive back if they lost.

Lots of good matches coming up on Sunday, join the live stream and I can promise some good commentary to go right along with the good pool for your viewing pleasure.
