Ok guys and gals!

I need some help here.

At one point in one of the poolrooms I hang out in, this was several years ago, they had a house pro in there who was practicing. I was watching him for a little while and then I realized 4 interesting things about the balls he was practicing with:

1) They had NO numbers on the balls. They were a solid in color.

2) The 9 Ball was black with a yellow stripe through it.

3) They were a litle bigger and heavier than a normal set of pool balls.

4) There were only 10 balls in the set. 9 + Cue Ball

Can anybody tell me:

Who makes/ made them?

Where?

Can you get them anymore?

Thank you my friends!

some info

Hi,

I also love the looks of those solid-colored balls. I first
saw them in Bert Kinister's videos.

I believe I asked Fast Larry about them a couple years or so ago, and he mentioned that they were named "Russik" or something like that. He also mentioned that they were smaller, but they might have made them in different sizes, since the ones in his videos sure look like regular (2.25 inch) size.

Anyway, I hope that name gives you some leads...

I have a solid black ball, but it was from an Atari track-ball :) from like 1983
