Last week I ran 741 , all recorded on my wife's smart phone. Unfortunately she dropped the phone in the toilet She said afterwards if it really was a smart phone, it would have jumped back out of the toilet.
Anyone who doubts me is obviously just jealous.

Browe, you need to get the memory card out. Even if it’s not great coverage as long as you didn’t snip any parts out and can prove it you will be better than William and John. I will buy the phone from you.

Next time use the otterbox. Not the new cheap ones but the one with the plastic screen cover. Someone dropped mine in the bath and it was aiight. That way if you run even more soon you won’t have to fret.

yer not everybody - but yea u are closer to nobody to b sure, last time i played him in the 14.1 - he did not like it, but at least he did not throw chalk and cry like a little baby (as he DID when I defeated him in the past). I would also add that people who think they can speak for 'everybody' are of an inadequate iq. capiche windy pizza scraper.

Oh, I stand corrected. The 95% don't care what your thoughts on a video you could never accomplish. My bad. Feel better now buttercup ;)

No worries, there is still the 5% conspiracy theory guys that demand proof (even though the BCA confirmed it) But damn it, you need proof that satisfies you. Sorry, get over it buttercup, JS is King of the Hill now, :)

But, hey, you got that sharking story from the last century to hold on to, so squeeze it tight and never let go of that hate, they say it's good for you ;)

U thought wrong - i have a mutual acquaintance (Army intelligence) who will be ready to proof the video - if they ever do release the so called unedited footage. He will be able to spot any possible splicing larceny, don't be surprised if their video (the powers that b) has a few problems - in reference to unedited/non stop running time. No he has not offered to play me recently, I did defeat him at the Straight Pool event there in nyc about 1 year ago. He has not changed - he is still a jerk. I also think it's a bit telling how u make it sound like I am the only 1 asking for more than here say evidence. glad to hear it's important to you how a player conducts himself at the table - good lack in ur future endeavors as swell'. While Mosconi may have been irritable in the heat of battle - he had way more class in his finger nail than schmidt has in his entire body. My friend's son has all the equip to proof their elusive video. I have a question for u sir - as u seem inelligent - do u believe everythin u hear? I seriously doubt that u do. shmidt would not want to be in a small room with me - i would show him a new meaning to bouncing off the walls.
I'll sleep better at night knowing army intelligence is on the case.

For a person who is disparaging john for a lack of class, your not above threatening physical violence against someone? Pretty classy.

I used to have an old table with pocket holes cut at an angle from the bed.

Is that how the 8'er Willie set the record on was cut?
Oh. Don't know? Hmmmmm...:slap:

The balls Willie played with, certainly they were appropriate sizes, right? Huh? Don't know...?

You are full of hate and jealousy, 'danny' (which is funny, coz you imply John is somehow sly by not using his real name, but YOU aren't using yours either! Triple slick, not).

You are the single most responsible person for your position in life.

I am not as fervent as some when it comes to the format ie place, how many faces watching, and or whether or not it was in an exhibition format (as Mosconi's run was). I put more stock in the final video presentation - with a couple of exceptions. 1st being the size of pockets, 2nd whether or not he sanded the slate (doctored table). So please don't assume that I will not recognize it as a new record if there is as u said no funny business. I'm a little biased as I have seen plenty of funny business from him and his poor attitude - when he's getting beat up on in Straight Pool. There are many people like him, I can assure ya'll if a player starts playing well against me I am far frrom perfect (workin on it) but I will never try to start arguing bout the rules or name calling just to get under their skin - it's simply not in my dna - and I thank God for it.
As I said before - win if you can, lose if you must, - but never cheat. We will see what kinda video they produce, they can't hide forever - the hawks of truth will take over.

I played on Willie’s 4x8 when I was a kid....Russ Maddox and George Rood owned the
room at that time and bugged me to go up from Dayton for the honor.
It had standard Brunswick pockets of that era....would be considered buckets today.

Don’t know if it was an oversized 8...they all looked small to a Canuck 6x12er

I played on it too. It was the over sized 8' table (46" x 92" playing surface). They were very popular in the Midwest poolrooms of that era. The 9' tables looked big to me. :D

Tom Ferry, RIP, who posted for many years on AZB as OldHasBeen, also knew that table well and noted how loose the pockets were. He commented once that the most impressive thing about Mosconi's run was that he never scratched. I laughed and laughed!

The other end of the spectrum....playing at the 711 in NYC when I was a kid.
...one guy got sick and tired of me getting out from anywhere at 9-ball...
...wanted to play on Big Bertha....with 3 reds....that 6x12 had REAL SMALL pockets...
...looked ridiculous to me...I told him I would play black ball only for a hundred...
...it’d still take a long time....he seemed to think that game was too quick...

I don't have sources to cite, but hasn't it been discovered there are multiple tables.that we sold as 'the table'?

Yes, I have heard that, too. Good thing we have had a few AZB posters like Jay Helfert, PT109, and OLdHasBeen who played on it before it was sold, so we can get a sense of what the conditions really were.

Gee, I am forgetful in my old age. Do I remember this right ? One guy was 300+ nights on the road, sometimes driving hundred of miles between exhibitions, giving 2 of 3 exhibitions almost daily, then one day walked into a pool room to discover the 41/2 X 9 tables were not Brunswick and had to play on a 4 x8 he had never even seen before and in front of an audience he proceeded to run 526 balls.
Then umpteen years later, some guy who slept in his own bed the night before, on a table he had previously played on hundred if not 1,00's of hours before attempting to break that record in front of a few friends, and now I am supposed to recognize him as the new record holder... REALLY
Gee next thing I know he will be claiming he hold the records of 15 world championships, held in a bar in the basement of a house on Ritchie Highway. Probably 14 in a row, instead of Willie's just 13 World Championships in a row.

Hard to tell if one is serious or not, without a ;) or a :slap: or a :duck:.

So seriously, presuming the vid supports the claim 626 balls were pocketed. You give schmidty the record or not?
