I practice spot shots like this
Ball on spot cueball in kitchen, pocket ball cueball has to get back to
Kitchen.short or long start over.
Next shoot object ball in pocket opposite of previous shot.Again cueball must
Stop in kitchrn.
This drill helps with aim, accuracy, speed control, and learning one's limits.
You will probably surprire yourself with how thin you can cut a ball, and
With how thin of hit.you can make and still draw the rock away from
The corner pocket scratch.
Try and run a rack like this and you will see how it can be good for
Your game.

The kitchen is a pretty big place. Does the cue ball get placed anywhere in the kitchen to start with? If you move it around, where do you move it to?

If you draw the cueball, you're not attempting to get the cue ball back to the kitchen, right? (just keep it from scratching, correct?)

Thanks,
