I understand you, believe me. But your first post made it sound to me like CSI was lying and did not seed, period. I was pointing out that there are many ways to seed, and that CSI did in fact, seed.
I also just took your advice, and looked up seeding on google and it took me to a tennis seeding Wikipedia. In that article alone, they list several different ways of seeding. Even one way with re-seeding after every round. They also give an example of a tennis where only the top 32 are seeded, and the rest are randomly placed. One year, the world number 1 met the world number 33 in the first round, and everyone was crying about it.
So that is about what we have here. There are probably 100 different ways to seed a tournament. CSI did seed it. They used their own method. But they did it.
