I don't think Keith did anything special to the shaft when I ordered it other than putting the thunder tip on it.

It definitely doesn't feel any different to the other shafts' taper. I humoured one of my colleagues here and played them using the break shaft and it is fine for all center ball shots. I also tried jumping once on it, worked too.

Then after 1 hour, I out it back on the case never to play it again.
