On ESPN? ABC? NBC? CBS? TNT? Where? If it is streaming on a website that proves my point.

I see a lot of reference to pool as a sport.
I call it a game.

Exactly, the Pool Playing Demographic changed. No matter how it did, its different.
The person who taps into that demographic has something, ready made customers.

I do to. How can pool be called a sport when an overweight, out-of-shape, beer-guzzling, cigar smoking man can (and has) been successful at it?

My dvr shows quite a bit of current men's pool coming in the short term future.

Perhaps it is your provider that is failing you?

And network tv as it used to be known is dead. In 5yr, such comments will likely be as warrantless and complaints about pay phones being dirty.

Thank you...that speaks to the point that pool has outlasted all those games-of-the-day.

I saw that cornhole championship in the schedule too. Turns out to be a fancy version of a bean bag toss that was popular at kids birthday parties. Who knew! At least it wasn't a bad prison movie! I guess most pool is on-line these days.

You could also be describing Golf! There are plenty of overweight and out of shape pro golfers. John Daly comes to mind first and he's still making a good living on the Senior Tour.

It's easy to make fun of cornhole but the American Cornhole Association's web site is more useful and professional than anything in the pool world.

http://americancornhole.com/

Meanwhile the WPA web site looks like a foreign scam. Which I suppose it is.

There is an even bigger Cornhole Championship held nightly on Porn TV.

Yeah, but I don't consider golf to be a true sport. The pros have somebody carrying their equipment around, suggesting which club to use, what direction and mph the wind is coming from, and gives them the distance to the hole. Hell, the caddies are doing most of the work.

Then...the amateurs are riding from hole to hole on an electric children's toy.
