John Parker could really make some nice cues …..
" Not too many high end orders-
This one made from a VERL HORN NOSE,-
Everything else John built in his shop-
"Nice touch with the white rubber bumper
I did the finishing or painting for about 3 years as a part-time position-
kind of apprenticing too with John.
John was a machinist in the Navy .
also worked for wiman steel in Tulsa-
also worked for his dad-custom home builder-
He was quite the craftsman-
John passed a year or so ago"

Thanks.. someone on FB mentioned that because this does not have the R-Back or whatever logo, this was probably made by Auerbach himself. But to be honest, I do not know. This was a custom order, designed with them and my client.

Cool cue.

I had an Auerbach with a white bumper. Bought it for a friend that decided he didn't want it so I sold it elsewhere. I think I should have kept it.

Joe,
Jim Auerbach owned the shop,
and did a little of the CNC Inlayed points work,
but NEVER constructed any of the cues.
JOHN PARKER CONSTRUCTED and completed all the cues at the Auerbach shop-
For approximately 3 years I did the clearcoat of the cues-
and apprenticed a little with John.
This cue was completed approx. 12 years ago- I actually posted some pics here in the gallery too-
The owner received and loved the cue-
"I saw the $$ 500.00 tip-check He sent to John
This really is a Super-Sharp looking cue too!

The reverse R or R-back as the name is pronounced, was their first logo (38 cues were made prior with no logo). After Jim passed, John changed the logo to a J lazy A logo where a sideways A was superimposed over the J.

I have searched in vain to find when Auerbach Made in USA first appeared on the cues.

That is a real beauty!
