Universal smart shaft adapter question

Is it possible to remove the adapter from the shaft so I could put an adapter with different joint threads in it? If so then how? It might be glued in, because I can't loosen it and I tried with those rubber strap wrenches.
Thanks,
Tim

It may be a left handed thread?

Never thought about it, I guess it could be left handed threads. Anyone know for sure?

it's a normal thread...i know some retailers were gluing in the adapter, it was actually recommended by the manufacturer. if it's glued it, there's not going to be any easy way to get it out without destroying it.
