I traded for this cue awhile back ago when Alex was still alive. I called him and was inquiring about the cue and i wanted to have an ivory joint put in it. He told me that he made 3 of these cues for a guy in Alaska. Two of them had ivory and one had stainless. At that time I asked Alex what he valued the cue at and he said he had no set value, but knew that it was sold at 900 dollars. He told me that he would put an ivory joint in, but recommended that I didn't because of the ivory's properties and went on to tell me that this cue is the only player cue he has ever made with a stainless joint. A year later, we lost Alex. My question is, what value would this cue hold? I have since put it up and play with my Diveney.

I am by no means an expert on pool Cues but I would be surprised if that cue went for any less than $1000. This is a pretty sweet player.

I have several 1 of 1 Alex Brick Cues. He made the first one for me in 1998. I would value your Cue at $1200-$1400, as they are fairly rare these days and play every bit as good as any Cue two to three times that much. I’ve owned at least 30 of his Customs and wish I hadn’t sold even one of them. Alex meant for all his Cues to be played, so don’t be afraid to put some table time on it. It just might become your #1 Weapon from that day forward.
