Houston Tournaments

Is there anything going on around Houston January 10-12? My wife is playing the JO Ladies Tour stop at Legends that weekend and I’d like to get out and get in a tournament with decent payouts if there’s anything happening that weekend.

I know there’s some Houston players on here! Help a brotha out. :p:thumbup:

There are small tournaments every day of the week

Jan 10 a friday is one where im going tonight loaded barrels saloon , great place non smoking and clean, every friday held there

Every saturday in crosby there is ray outlaws
Regularly gets 30 players, bar matches 100 percent 500 a ball 10ball
And you'll run into houstons tops players like alex calderon

All diamond tables 10 or so 2 big ones and the rest bar boxes
a super nice room

There is also a houston area pool tournament facebook page if you want to ask directly there

I know of about 90 percent of the tournaments though lol

You can find all two man tournaments you want in Houston :smile:

Just go to Bogies Billiards or Big Tyme Billiards

I’ll be at Big Tyme already. I messed up and said Legends, but the tournament my wife is playing in is at BigTyme. At any rate, not looking for action. None worth talking about anyway. Maybe some cheap sets here and there.

That tournament at Ray Outlaws sounds good. What time is sign-up?

Edit: Outlaw Rays? I found a website but it doesn’t say anything about tournaments and the one picture I found of a pool table in there is a Valley. Is that the same place you were talking about?

Right

And there is an outlaw country bar that has 10 valleys and stiff competition on friday nights

So keep that in mind, they are pretty far away apart anyways

Well damn. I’d rather play in that. I didn’t know it was the same weekend. I don’t know if I’ll be able to swing it but I’ll talk to the wife and see if there’s any way we can make that work. I’ll already be driving over 11 hours to get to Houston on Friday so...

That’s kind of a bummer that this qualifier and the opening stop of the JO Ladies Tour are on the same weekend. I wonder if any ladies are planning to skip the opener to play that qualifier at Skinny’s.

Looks like Loaded Barrels on Friday, if we get into town in time, and Outlaw Rays Saturday unless something comes up. I don’t think me playing at Skinny’s while my wife is in Houston is going to work out. Too much distance and only one car.

Loaded barrels starts a lil after 8
You can get entered and show up late if you call me or walter pm for phone number if you want

Last friday had 20, never know how many will show
4 oversized bar boxes with simonis
