Lack of experience is not limited to the pool table mechanics in the USA.

I just don't understand how a big tournament with brand new Brunswick tables would not have a crew of people who can properly set up the tables. Here we are though!

You're sadly mistaken if you think Brunswick has a crew of installers who do nothing but wait around waiting to set tables.

There's only ONE pool table manufacturer that sends in it's own installers to set up multiple tables in support of any kind of pool table used event....do you need a hint as to who that is?? And no, setting up a couple of pool tables for like the Mosconi Cup does not qualify as an event, that's nothing more than a sales platform!!!

This is ALL Business. Being partnered with Matchroom is HUGE.
Internationally Rasson seems to be doing stuff on every continent.
I know Diamond is as well. They are both doin more than
Brunswick and that is a fact!

That new OX table appears to play better, the slate shelf looks
deeper and seems that the pockets are playing tougher. Mosconi
Cup will definitely bring forth some feedback from the best players
in the world. Interested to hear what they are saying.
Can't wait to play on the Victory 2+ and the OX on my mid-winter
work trip to Florida!! I wanna get under the tables and see how
they are built as well. I don't mind adding a 3rd brand to my business,
so long as it is built well and plays well.

Let me know the next time Rasson supplies 64 9fts to support pool, or make that 32, well, let's make it easier, 16 tables. Your idea of supporting pool u fortunately is not the same as mine. Diamond supports all the pool tables needed based on the demand of the event. Rasson supplies 1 or 2 tables to play on for sales, so how exactly is a Chinese pool table manufacturer supporting the pool system in OUR country???

I highly doubt Brunswick(when they sponsored tournaments) or Diamond does
the big tournaments for free... Even if they are doing them for free: it is still
called marketing and advertising. Brand placement is big for any company
and the goal: TO SELL TABLES.

Rasson is the new player in the market whether you like it or not.
There is a whole big world outside this country :)
Pool is getting big internationally. They are in business, just like Diamond.

They actually have an international team that consists of:

Florian “Venom” Kohler, Darren “Dynamite” Appleton,
Jayson “The Eagle Eye” Shaw, Kevin Cheng,
Matthew "The Stinger" Webber, FU XiaoFang and SHI TianQi.

I know Brunswick sponsors Ewa Mataya Laurance<<< not relevant in
pool anymore IMO. More of a "model" rather than a player.

I dont think I have ever heard of Diamond sponsoring any
players and it would be great if they did.

I was hanging with Earl the Pearl and he brought up this:
Most of the companies who make money from pool all over
the world, share very little of it with the players. Brunswick,
Diamond, Saluc( Simonis & Aramith)

Kind of interesting that Predator does sponsor a ton of players,
I wonder if they are actually getting endorsement checks.

The point I got from the conversation with Earl the Pearl is this:
The industry does not support the Professional Player. Nickels
and dimes compared to other sports.

The Chinese are smart, so I do not under estimate them.
Like I said: I don't mind adding another brand to my business.
If the product is good of course!

Interested to see how the Victory 2+ & Ox play and how they are
built when I am down in Florida in January!

I would think you being so into tables, would want to know about them too.

I've already told you, I've seen their 9ft pool table at the BCA trade show, worst set of 9ft rails I've ever seen designed.

I am still excited to see both models from a design/ build perspective and also to play on them!

I see you avoided all of the other parts of my last post :)

You have to making a profit before you can Share it.

The real money comes from Streaming or TV revenue.
Also, cigarette, energy drink, energy bar, alcohol brand endorsements.

So you are telling me none of the companies I mentioned are profiting?? WRONG.

That is extra money you are speaking of, if the industry does not support itself, why would any of those companies you mentioned shell out the $$$??

It has to start with the industry FIRST IMO.

Before you go off on the businesses in this industry, it would be best if you educate yourself with their margin of profit, because you're way off base on this subject. Ford don't sponsor auto racing for a reason, same reason Chrysler and GM don't either.

The NFL don't sponsor itself either, neither does the NBA or MLB, why is that, don't they make billions???

All those Auto Manfacturer's are the racing industry... Nascar and all the racing leagues would not exist with out the manufacturers.

NFL IS the core of football.

None of what you said makes any sense. EXAMPLE:

Ford certainly does pay drivers and sponsors races. Here is fords racing site:

Did Tiger Woods become a billionaire from tournament winnings alone????
