There are really only 2 rooms in Tucson.
Clicks Billiards

Pockets Pool n Pub

Clicks is closer to the west side and Pockets is more for the east siders.
I would recommend Pockets, they have a rate of $8.50 from 11AM till 6PM. They also have a special for Thursday and Sunday night, $7.50 from 6PM until closing at 2AM.

Played at Pockets a few times, nice room.
Tucson Arizona is a unique place, and you should check out the Titan Missel Museum, and go to Nogalas to see Border Wars first hand.
Just got back to AZ, as far as I know both rooms are still going.

Just got in from pockets. They are open from 11am to 2am seven days a week.
Glad you liked it, been a while since I've been there and you just never know.
places to play
Both of the rooms mentioned are nice places to play. Good equipment and minimal riff raff. If you give me a call we might knock around a few balls at my rug store, just for grins.
I hope you have an appetite for Mexican food.

Thanks for the offer but I will be in conference till about 5pm. I fly out tomorrow at 7am. I wish we could have met up earlier during my stay. It would have been nice to met the man behind the legend.

What happened to Main Street Billiards?
I won a big tournament there many moons ago from the Hot Seat.
I had to beat Tom (Dead Eye) Neil twice.
Tom broke like King Kong. :smile:

Tom Neil placed second in a Monthly 19 Ball tournament at pockets yesterday and is still playing well
Main Street closed in 2009. Bob Jackson lost his legs to Diabetes and his partner ran the place to the ground. Sad, very sad. I thought at one time it was the best Room in AZ. Its a neighborhood Walmart now.
