now that we have Griffs lets have some more tar matchups..the tar series has to be the greatest pool series ever. To present the greatest players from all over the world competition heads up. Now may be the time to get it going..Would be nice to find a major sponsor but if anyone can do it Mark could:D

I wonder if studio and equipment are still in Vegas? I think their last match was in '14 iirc. It would be cool to have some new match-ups with all the young talent that's out there.

If not, they could always use the bonus ball arena. Man those 'businessmen' were smart!!

That place in Florida with the restored 10 Centennial would be a great place for this, think there's 2 tables there.

I'm sure that Mark has been paying for rent needlessly for 3 years. Why not. Come on now. Think a bit. The problem is kind of like the porn industry. You can get almost everywhere for free that it's tough to get people to pay for it.

Yeah, you're probably right. It was such a nice studio and the matches and podcasts were always good. Maybe Mark could do some challenge matches at Griff's.

I thought jcin said the space was vacated.

Do you all seriously think a venture that shut down is gonna keep paying rent for 3yr?

JCIN owns the old TAR matches. I wish he would put more of them on the TAR Vimeo page. I believe they are current on hard drives sitting in his car trunk.

I'd love to see TAR come back again, but only if it makes sense for Justin to do so. He loves pool and really loved TAR. He didn't stop because he got bored. If the conditions are right for him to come back, then it would be awesome. Otherwise, I'm grateful for the matches I got to see & I commend him on a job well done.

The costs and expenses always seem to outweigh the profits in pool. It's the same with tournaments. You can go to 10 tournaments, but you must come in first, second, or third place in the majority of them to break even most times. To do a quality production, it requires expertise, expensive equpment, and time, often unpaid time. Therein likes the problem.

I thought Mark and Justin stopped working together????

I'm pretty certain that is the case. It's my guess that any future prospective TAR activity would not be a collaboration.

To their credit, whatever happened has been kept on the down-low, for the most part. Very professional and respectful. Not the norm these days
