JS ran 626 balls with no secret aiming system.
Im not sure about that. But my gut tells me that most great players by nature will not go around sharing how they process the game and aim. I dont see the value in being hostile, or ridiculing people we disagree with. I have been told by one instructor that most players use a system. It may look like they jist get down and shoot but probably are just proficient in using thier system. I know a player who does not read any books or watch vidoes. He play good but has not improved notably since i have known him.

And in your local room, the best players have no clue about secret aiming systems.

Hey Cookieman....I "cooked up" this bit of satire over in the Main Forum where they were arguing about John Schmidt's run of 626 balls and whether it's all fake and all that stuff.
Don't know if you saw it or whether you go into that section or not, so I'm bringing it here and changing some words so it applies to "aiming in pool". Enjoy.
Don't you think it sounds like some of these people...??
Here 'tis....
A POOL FORUM CONVERSATION
"He ran over 90 balls in straights using the CTE aiming system"
"No he didn't, it was a setup, he doesn't use a system, he just sees the shot"
"Did you see it?"
"Did you?"
"What does that matter? "
"It matters a lot"
"Why?"
"Because I said so, that's why"
"Well, who died and made you king of the forums?"
"Doesn't matter, I was at Johnston City and I've seen the best..nobody who plays good uses that CTE bull"
"I Just don't like you"
"So what, I don't like you either, you wanta' bet something?"
"Yea. lets play some straights for a thousand"
"Make it ten thousand"
"No, let's make it for our lives...winner gets to push the loser in front of the bus"
"The bus doesn't run down this street"
"Yes it does"
"Does not"
"Does so, I used to drive that bus"
"I will beat your ass first"
"No you won't"
"Yes I will, I have a 32nd degree black belt in Sigmund kubra kai.
"I have a 33rd degree black belt....so bite down on them apples, fool"
"I still say he didn't use CTE, its a fake"
"No it isn't a fake, my sister's husband was there"
"You're lying.... anyhow, your sister is a Ho"
"No, you're lying and your mammy is a bigger Ho than my sister"
"It ain't no accident that you look like me, chump"
"I said you were lying first"
"No you didn't. This is my 56th post in this thread...so YOU were lying first".
And as the sun settled in the West, the band played on

"It is almost impossible to free fools from the chains they revere."

Told him Busti misses shots because he uses spin often when not needed.

And the fact remains, Jose didn't have to use english but did anyway. And lining up with right english and shooting with left, guess what, the cue has to pivot.

You mean your facts.
He also wonkered the tip to the right after getting up.
And you can't prove he just mishit the ball.

You have theories there from scooping to he didn't hit it inside.

It's not a theory that he didn't use inside. There's video proof. Check the reaction of the CB

All speculation on what he did.
I say he did not give it a full quality stroke and follow becuase it was a lame duck 9. He could make that one handed chomping on a steak.
His tip wondered to the right and the scoop stroke was brought up.
