This may be the nicest non-ivory Horn cue I have ever seen. The points are virtually perfect.
It is 6pt, 3hi 3lo. with 2 veneers
The forearm & butt are mahogany and the inlays appear to be maple.
The joint is micarta w/ 5/16-18 pin piloted.
2 shafts, 1 29" 13mm the other shaft is 29 3/4" 13.1mm
The longer shaft has a very slight taper roll.
The butt rolls die straight.
Those of you who know something about Verl know he was not very fond of brown tone cues so he built very few brown ones.
If you want to call me my number is 316-641-9231
You will not be disappointed with this cue.
Thanks for looking,
Bill

Friendly bump for a great cue. I knew Verl, this cue will hit a ton. Also, a very rare one!

Good luck with the sale.

In your pictures the joints on the shafts appear to be different. The brass on one looks flat and on the other it looks rounded. Is one not original and if not who made it?

Very nice looking Horn for sure. Just tough times for everyone. Who did the restoration?

The restoration was done at Shurtz Custom Cues.
Jack Shurtz learned the trade from Verl & was a good friend & wandered all over the US with Verl for a lot of years.
Thanks, Bill

The second shaft was built when the cue was restored at Shurtz Custom Cues.
The insert in the original shaft had a nasty nick in it and when I cleaned up the shaft I filed it to remove the burr.
