Got the cue from Mr. Fisher Tuesday.
Fit and Finish are very nice. I would give it a 9 out of 10.
The shafts are both smooth and perfect. The rings can't be felt
at all butt or shaft. The pictures don't show the subtle grain
in the ebony that really adds to the look of the cue in person. I
am not a huge fan of jet black ebony so this was an extra treat
for me. The cue is just gorgeous in person.
Play: I only got to play with the cue for an hour but I tried
my best to put it through its paces.
The cue breaks very nice, and actually improved my cue ball
control a bit. The cue balances very well in my hand so I it
was nothing to shoot finesse shots. As advertised the cue
shoots pretty stiff, just like I like, in fact the hit is
almost identical to my Sugartree. The feedback to the grip
hand is a bit deader than my Sugartree, but I am attributing
that to the ebony. I love how it feels. For a cue that wasn't
specifically made for me this cue fits me perfect.
If anyone is looking to get a very nice well made cue that shoots
lights out I would highly recommend taking a look at Fisher Custom Cues.
