I look forward to seeing your scores and videos and adding them to the thread list.

If you think you can score high on Exam I after some practice, also consider entering the $4000 BU Exam I 100 Challenge.

Catch you later,
Dave

I tried to practice test so I can remember how it is done. It is still great practice IMO.
I could not take test yet because tables were reserved all evening. I had to wait closing time and then I was too tired. Also I cut by accident on my right hand to fingers so it seems i can´t yet shoot properly.(i am still doing fine on competition this weekend :D) I have to use glove on right hand too or it hurt too much.
Probably this is going at least week ahead :(..

I hope your hand heals well and quickly.

There are still 31 days left in the challenge, so there is plenty of time to take a stab at the top 3.

Good luck,
Dave

Well played for 6 hours today and only managed to put up an 85. The Stun, Wagon Wheel and Target are holding me back. Going to put some serious practicing on those 3 drills. Here is my 85. Until next time.

I look forward to seeing how high you can go.

FYI, I updated your score and video on the Challenge page.

Catch you later,
Dave

PS: I decided to take a break from the exam for a few days. It was driving me a little nuts.

If that is the case, you should be able to break into the top 3 of the Challenge after a little focused practice.

I’m look forward to seeing some videos from you with top scores.

Catch you later,
Dave

Yeah.
Gotta try this.
My wound(s) closed yesterday. I did cut my middle and index finger with carpet knife on work. Still, I can´t properly chalk but no more blood.. :D
I just have to make sure I remember on which drills cueball base have to on paper and where overlapping is good enough..

P.s I did have paper wrong way on stun drill :D Just opposite :D
So base of cueball is needed to be on target on draw drill only?

I'm glad "it's just a flesh wound."

When using the paper target, any ball overlap counts. When judging where the CB is relative to imaginary lines (e.g., the draw drill rectangle in Exam I or the head string for the break power point in Exam II), the resting point of the CB needs to be inside the line.

Well, I wasn't going to play on the 4th of July but couldn't help it. The 60-90 minutes before work every morning is starting to show. I ended up with a 17 on the wagon wheel, I missed 2 shots in the potting drill that I usually make and had some unfortunate luck in the position play. Ended up with a 89 but should have easily been a 92 or 93. Here is the video. Until next time.

Son of a Bit** I recorded 2 attempts tonight and deleted the wrong one off of my camcorder. Oh well it didn't place in the top 3 so not a big deal. I would have been pissed if I hit a 95 or higher and deleted it by mistake. I just deleted the video off of YouTube. I was wondering why the video was only 34 minutes, I thought I was shooting fast but then it dawned on me that I deleted the wrong attempt on my camcorder.

Just set a new PR of 81. However, my f’n phone died while I was recording!

It wasn’t good enough to be any threat in the challenge, but it sucks I didn’t get it on video.

I dogged my brains out on the draw and stun drills. My scores in order were
10
10
10
6
6
8
16
15

Edit: I miscounted again...score is 82! :happydance: I wrote down 8 for the shotmaking drill but I actually made 9.

I thought my phone deleted the vid when it died but it didn’t. It cuts off halfway through the wagon wheel drill though. I’ll upload what I’ve got and add it to this post when I can.
Good job! That's too bad about the video. Now you have a reason to beat it (and capture it on video).

Regards,
Dave

Bummer! You could have crushed it. I don't think I've ever started with the first 60 points. I hope you can do it again soon.

I'm currently on a BU Exam break. My wrist has been hurting the last two weeks. At first, I didn't know what was causing it. Now I'm pretty sure it was the BU Exam work, especially the draw shots. I need to let my "BU Exam wrist" heal.

Catch you later,
Dave

I have been also healing from injury. I was still able to practice little bit 3 drills from test. Draw, stun and wagon wheel(most difficult parts of it, I feel). Next week gotta take couple tries to test.
