Awesome looking cue!!! You're doing the same thing with your John Davis as I am with mine except mine is figured BEM with coco points. Same veneers, deco rings and Hoppe ring with a linen wrap for mine and I can't wait to see it.

oops mine has veneers of natural, green, orange and black and the deco rings are black/orange/black. I'm really glad you posted those great pics because I had a discussion with Richard Neighbors on what would look best for the deco rings. I had a fleeting thought of black/orange/green/orange/black on a maple ring and he said it would be too crowded to where I suggested the black/orange/black. After seeing those pictures I am super glad I changed that fleeting thought.
