Very interesting article. Thanks for posting. Gives me a much better understanding of why my Black Dot shafts play the way they do vs. some of my other single piece shafts. And also the difference that a pro 15-inch taper can have vs. a more traditional taper.

This makes more sense, as I noticed OB was entirely left out in the article.

They did talk about the OB shaft and something towards the end, but did not really give any history about OB, which is probably the second best well known shaft maker after Predator. I mean no one gave two craps about Cuetec shafts till Shane even with Earl and Alison using their cues.
