Anyone play rotation?

I came across the book "'Minnesota Fats' on Pool" the other day and was amazed by the number of games listed that hardly ever get played.

I was thinking that rotation doesn't get enough play, especially in casual, larger groups. It seems that whenever groups that want to talk and BS play 8-ball it's the oft asked "which side are we?" throughout the beginning of the game. At least in rotation you go to the table and know what you have to shoot.

Here's the rest of games listed in the book that I can't recall ever playing with anyone:

Bank Pool
Kelly Pool
Bottle Pool
"41"
15 ball
Line up
Cowboy
Cribbage
Golf
One and Nine ball
Baseball (though you need the 21 ball set for this)
Poker
American Snooker

Ponytail

...it's about consistency

I've not played 'Baseball' but I have played the rest. One ball is very challenging, as is cribbage.

PistolPat

Flip Strokin' since 91

I played rotation yesterday after watching the live feed from the phillipines last week. It was a really fun game!
