Like most know, DO got down when and how he wanted to.

I've played him, Alex and several others that looks like their playing while laying down.

The gap is much bigger than most think.

To me, it's the "gambler vs. the worker" and in that scenario the worker wins because one is gambling, the other is working.

We all know that we get paid to "work".

DO don't gamble much. He works.

Jeff

I dont believe DO 'started playing' after he got down 0-4. Anything can happen with one game. Especially if one player only needs 4 balls. Sure DO played better but tall poppy must have played a whole lot worse. Any choking involved?

1P by the ball
i heard but never got to play, of Oklahoma 1P where you race to a number of total balls.
you play all balls on the table, who makes last ball breaks next rack and then to 21 or whatever amount of balls

Dont start your idiotic shit again. You are gonna get played, enjoy your money while you still have it.

I work and dont have time right now.

Tried to high roll you? Quit making shit up, I gamble in the action room all the time, you're the one running your mouth again.

Coward....you called me out, I gave you the world and you ducked. I literally have no idea how you play. I clearly told you and everyone here that you get the 7 out with all the breaks for 3 big sets. I am not even a shortstop player, weak AA at best.

I'm talking about gambling on your game. Any fool can bet on the Packers. You ran your mouth at me and I called your bet, but of course you are "too busy working!". Dude I work 70 hours a week and it hasn't made me scared.

I called you out? You've done nothing but run your mouth, you are the one who offered the game I never said anything about playing, you brought it up and that's a fact!

You do realize there is a difference between "working" at a POOLROOM and living an hr away from the closest room and working all the time?

I'm at work now and will probably be here 12+ hrs today, so again, I dont have time for this. Not to mention, the $$$ isnt going to affect my life either way.

You've made a game you cannot win, and instead of being quiet(notice I havent brought it up) and keeping your money, you start talking shit again.

Im putting you on ignore and you can just run your mouth all day about how scared I am, it's not going to change my life one bit.

If I ever got around to it, you would get played and lose, then you will probably want to fight(judging by the way you act) and I will lose my job. Sometimes the action just isnt worth it.

Btw, you losing wouldn't have anything to do with the way you play, that's just way too big of a spot to overcome because you have no control giving up all the breaks and 7 out, especially on a Bar box. If I was a B, or C player, sure, you would win, I would even bet on you.

Ok...come take my money then. All you are doing is talking bullshit and making excuses...like the last time.

I have no idea how you play. I hope you break and run 7 games a set.

$500 a set...3 set minimum. I got heads.

When you grow a pair and get a week off from work you can hold my post money. Saying I'm gonna fight you is unwarranted...though I would spot you the first 2 punches and bet $500 on that too.

Takes 3 things to gamble on YOUR POOL GAME

Heart- you got none
Game- you could be a champion, I have no idea and am
betting blind
Bankroll- you say you are loaded, great who isn't?

So you got one of the 3 requirements. Best of luck

Pretty interesting thread here. Lots of opinions coming from all directions. Typical AZ, some pretty knowledgeable and some from out of left field.

A little background on Bobby aka Jean Robaire Bellande or JRB. He is an old school GAMBLER with a capital G! He was making waves around SoCal over twenty years ago, both at pool and at poker. He did more losing than winning, but when he won it was a real score. He beat some Russian high roller for over 200K back in the 90's and used that money to partner up in a sushi bar/poolroom in the heart of Hollywood. He was doing well there but couldn't resist the lure to gamble and was soon back at it playing in the biggest games at Larry Flynt's Hustler Casino.

I got to know Bobby pretty well back then and we played One Pocket a few times with me giving him 9-8, 8-7 for 50 to 200 a game. I won and lost at that game, and I was playing pretty good back then. Now I wouldn't play him even. His game has gone up and my game is non existent.

I consider Bobby a friend. He was a good guy to gamble with and we never had a beef about money or anything else. In the gambling world, he's considered a "straight up" guy, which is a high compliment. He has the respect of almost all the high line gamblers, from the poker, pool and sports betting world. He's damn sure got my respect to. If he loses he pays off with a smile and if he wins, he compliments his opponent. Like someone else said on here, the pool world would be great if we had a hundred more like him.

All the keyboard cowboys who call people out on here and make claims about their past games or action can't hold a candle to a guy like this. He does it in person and to your face, calling you out to bet what you want. This is no easy game for him playing against one of the best pool players on the planet. I'm not sure there are many on here who would want to try matching up with Dennis for serious money.

Big Bobby (the name I always call him) is the real deal. He puts his money where his mouth is and if he runs out he looks for more. Bobby has a stable of high rollers ready to bail him out if need be because they like him and know he's good action. In the big time gambling world, being "good action" is something to be respected. As for me, the biggest games I ever played were $1,000 a game One Pocket a few times and I didn't do that on a regular basis. In the gambling world, I'm just "the pool guy" and somewhat of a nit.

It’s not business. 100% guarantee that. And how rare is that in pool?

I’ll back up that statement with my own $100,000

Tell’em Jay!!

Toupee is 100% right. I mite have mentioned that a minute ago. ;)

JRB used to play Efren in Hardtimes years ago.

The last time I played JRB I beat him playing all games except 1P, this was in 07, I didn’t start to play one pocket until after I played JRB. He gave me 10/6 and won. Again I knew zero about 1P then and started playing 1P shortly after.

Also we didn’t play big, we played $50-$100 pool and winner buys lunch kind of action. More social than anything. These days he would rob me playing anything because I haven’t played in forever.

He has heart, gamble and makes bad bets on Triton Poker(he donned off like $500k on a bluff I saw on YouTube).

I want you to take my money....no bullshit.

You are just one of those dudes with closet full of skinny jeans and no heart who thinks he's better than he is. I assure you I will correct that for a day. You are a 200 pound halibut, nothing more.
