Sectional Playa - 08-07-2019, 12:40 PM

Still in the making.
This one is gonna be playah.
Sectional handles are a lot more work .
Gotta make sure they are done right and not lose resonance.
But, they sure are pretty sometimes.

Very nice!

Chris Davis

If you're gonna sell cues, buy a scale and calipers.

Main players: 1930's Gilbert Titlist, Custom Olneys. Piloted joints for me.
Play shafts: Cash Cues ferrule-less and OB Classic
Break: X Breaker & Gilbert JB - both w/ OB Break shafts
Jump: Lomax

Nice cue.

What is the purpose of a sectional handle?

Looks?

Balance?

For looks and with heavier woods like mac. ebony, you add more natural weight.
And mac ebony does resonate better than maple. They make for great guitar backs.

"Simple," smooth, and classy JB. Someone will really enjoy that cue! Top shelf Sir.

It better, the owner is picky.
Hah!
I did two tone tests. From the face and from the side.
I'm happy how it resonates.
Choice core woods, epoxy and no metal A-joint did their jobs.

I can attest to the fact that these cues are awesome players!!

Lucky enough to get one of Joey's sectional handle cues, although my pictures do not do justice, it is beautiful in person.

Cues: Tascarella, Joey Bautista

Ordered: Hercek (2004), Searing (2008), Koo (2009)
