Might want to ask Kevin Varney about that finish if you aren't using a fresh air system or a booth to avoid fumes.

The only way for a good review with honest opinion is a hands on test. Please forward a 19oz. Sneaky, Rosewood four prong into clear with maple. Wood to wood 3/8X10 G-10 pin. Soft top.

How many coats?

Anyways, looks great, keep it up. Somebody at Rockler suggested this to me one time and it worked great. I used 4 coats, sand, apply, sand, apply, etc... I think you made a great choice here.

5 to 6 coats, ty. I had to start a new thread to put another picture but for some reason it only lets me put 1 picture so its hard to see details
